The Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University will present guest artist and violinist Dr. Hristo Popov at 8 p.m. Thursday in Bliss Recital Hall. Popov will lecture on early 20th century Eastern European composers and perform a recital including selections from Bartok, Vladigerov and Enescu. Popov is in residence at the Dana School of Music. Popov is artistic director of Chagrin Valley Chamber Music Concert Series and founder and artistic director of International Festival for Strings & More in Sandusky.
Both the lecture and the recital are free and open to the public.
