Poland’s Shepherd of the Valley held a Craft Show Saturday, featuring more than 25 vendors. The event was held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and was open to the public. An array of items, including jewelry, handbags, aprons and seasonal decorations, were for sale.
Boardman resident Pauline Harrison bought a pumpkin and spice scented candle for her home along with other seasonal treats. She said the craft show had something for everyone.
“They have a little bit of everything here,” Harrison said. “I’m going home with a new necklace, purse and popcorn for the kids.”
All monies raised from the event will go toward resident activities for the retirement home. This is Shepherd of the Valley’s first year hosting a craft show, but it is planned to become an annual event.
