Man shot in foot on East Side

YOUNGSTOWN

An 18-year-old Youngstown man was shot in the foot while walking on the city’s East Side.

Police said the Drummond Avenue man told them he was walking about 11:30 p.m. Thursday on McGuffey Road when he heard a gunshot and felt a sharp pain in his right foot. The man saw a four-door black car speed away after the shooting, and has no idea who shot him, according to a police report.

The man was treated and released from the St. Elizabeth Health Center.
