ASSOCIATIONS

American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 10 a.m. Oct. 2 at Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown. Dr. Barbara Brothers, a member of the League of Women Voters, will present a program on “Know the Issues: Education and the November Ballot.” There will be a guided tour of the gardens. Gold Wing Road Riders Association will meet at 5 p.m. Saturday for supper at the Yankee Kitchen, 6635 Market St., Boardman. A guest speaker will talk about hearing impairment. CLUBS

Poland Women’s Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday. A representative from Family Promise of Mahoning Valley, Inc. will speak. Hostess is Beth Alexoff, with co-hostesses Richelle Strollo and Kiersten Lattanzio. A reminder: Active member dues of $20 are payable.

Warren Women’s Connection will have a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 11 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Rroad NE, Warren. The theme will be “What’s Hiding in Your Closet?” Inspirational speaker Velma Geise will present a special feature, and music will be by Nina Miller, violinist and singer. The cost is $12. Dublin Grange will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday for its Fall Kickoff dinner. Members are to take a casserole and table service.

Youngstown Chapter of the Embroiderer’s Guild of America will meet at 10 a.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the IOOF Hall in Canfield with Sally Svoboda presiding.
