Police are continuing to work on finding suspects in a burglary at a Struthers business.
Semach’s Northside Television & Appliance, 864 Yougstown-Poland Road, was burglarized Tuesday between 1 and 2 a.m., said Struthers Detective Jeff Pantall.
The burglars broke in through the roof, he said. About 20 televisions, varying from 55 inches to 30 inches wide, were stolen along with related TV accessories and a small amount of cash, he said.
Pantall said police believe there are two or three burglars involved. He said the Semach’s case is likely related to about a half-dozen similar burglaries since March at businesses in Youngstown, Boardman, Beaver and Austintown.
Police also recovered a pickup truck they believe was used in the Semach’s burglary, Pantall said.
The truck was stolen from MVG Auto Supply on Youngstown-Poland Road and found Tuesday on the South Side of Youngstown, Pantall said.
It was reported stolen to Boardman Police on Tuesday morning.
A box truck at Specialty Linens on Youngstown-Poland Road also was reported damaged Tuesday morning in what appears to be an attempted theft.
The truck was last seen undamaged Monday evening, police said.
