“Alice in Wonderland,SDRq Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theatre, 600 Playhouse Lane, Youngstown. Auditions will be at 4:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Looking for boys and girls age 8 and up and adults of all ages. Auditioners are asked to come with a “funny character/cartoon voice” and a wallet-size photo, and will read from the script. Rehearsals will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3 and 4 and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 4. 330-788-8739.

SINGERS

Salem Youth Chorus is accepting auditions for the 2010-11 season. Teens 14-19 are eligible. Weekly rehearsals will take place alternately in Boardman and Salem. They have sung in Williamsburg, Va., Washington D.C., New York City and cathedrals in Ireland, Wales and England. This is an accelerated, “honors”-level ensemble and is great for those considering a career in music as a teacher or performer. Teen auditions (12-15 years), tap: 1-1:45 p.m.; Jazz, 1:45-2:30 p.m.; senior auditions (16 and older) tap, 3-3:45 p.m.; jazz, 3:45-4:30.
