2 shot dead at rural home, neighbor sought

DANIELSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Police are looking for a neighbor suspected of fatally shooting two people at a rural eastern Pennsylvania home.

Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli says the shooting happened Wednesday evening in Lehigh Township. An unidentified man and woman were killed.

Police are searching for 38-year-old suspect Barry Soldridge Jr. A police bulletin issued for Soldridge indicated an assault rifle may have been used in the slayings.

Neighbors said they saw a car go down the private driveway before hearing screaming and about a dozen shots.

Morganelli says state police are leading the investigation.
