Murder-suicide in East Liverpool

East Liverpool police said they are investigating an apparent murder-suicide at 1126 Avondale St. at 2:38 a.m. today, police said.

Police said they found a 22-year-old-woman on the front porch of the house dead from a gunshot wound. A 25-year-old man was found about one block south of the shooting scene. Police said he apparently died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

A second woman was found just inside the doorway of the house; she had suffered a gunshot wound. She was taken to East Liverpool City Hospital and then flown to a Pittsburgh hospital where a report on her condition was unavailable.
