Citywide cleanup Saturday in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Litter Control and Recycling Department is holding a citywide fall cleanup Saturday.

The event starts with a rally in front of the Covelli Centre box office at 8 a.m.

Participants are asked to register between 8 a.m. and noon. While there, participants will receive free trash bags, gloves, T-shirts and bottled water.

More than 700 volunteers participated in the city’s spring cleanup.
