Mahoning coroner ID's body found Monday in house fire

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Coroner’s office has determined the identity of a woman found in a burning home on the city’s East Side on Monday.

According to a press release today from the coroner’s office, the woman is Vivian Martin, 67, of Ron Lane. The coroner’s office did not release a cause of death.

Martin’s late-model Cadillac had been parked outside of the house at 3660 Nelson Ave. and is now being held by police for processing.

Police have been unable to find keys for the vehicle and had to call OnStar to open the doors.
