Judge Maureen A. Sweeney ordered the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation to provide a detailed report of any forensic evidence against Trent Rapp.
Rapp, former Canfield Dairy Queen owner, was indicted in July 2009 on 16 charges after a six-month investigation by Canfield and Beaver police and the FBI.
He faces single counts of marijuana trafficking, cocaine possession, corruption of a minor with drugs and possession of criminal tools; eight counts of child pornography; and four counts of pandering sexually oriented material.
Judge Sweeney’s order was filed Monday after a pretrial hearing that morning in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
It states that by Oct. 5, BCI must complete all forensic computer tests and evaluations and “provide a detailed report to this court explaining all of the methods, findings and conclusions related to said evaluation.”
