Dobbins Elementary reopens Wednesday

Dobbins Elementary School will be open for classes Wednesday, after closing today because of water-main breaks.

A waterline that runs along Dobbins Road near the high school football stadium broke around 5:30 a.m. today, said Superintendent Robert Zorn.

It was repaired, and the high school opened after a two-hour delay. Then, two connected water-main lines broke, forcing Dobbins Elementary, 3030 Dobbins Road, to use one of its three emergency days, Zorn said.
