Suicide suspected in Pa. officer’s death

ORWIGSBURG, Pa. (AP) — A Pennsylvania police officer has been found dead inside the borough police station and investigators suspect he committed suicide.

Orwigsburg police Officer William Bradley was found dead inside the station Sunday afternoon.

State police Cpl. Rahn Richards says Bradley appears to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. An autopsy will be scheduled.

Richards says Orwigsburg police Chief Stanley Brozana discovered the 47-year-old officer’s body Sunday afternoon. Bradley was one of the borough’s four full-time patrolmen.

Orwigsburg is about 70 miles northwest of Philadelphia in Schyulkill County.

State police continue to investigate.
