Car-seat inspection

NILES

As part of Baby Safety Month, Burlington Coat Factory, 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road, will have a car-seat inspection from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says more than 81 percent of all child safety seats are improperly installed, exposing children to an increased risk of serious injury, a Burlington Coat Factory press release says.

The inspection, in conjunction with the Trumbull County Board of Health, is aimed at reducing the number of infant and toddler injuries and fatalities associated with improperly installed child safety seats, the company said.
