Newton Falls defeats Bristol; YCS falls, 3-0

NEWTON FALLS

Angela Giuliano scored four goals on Saturday as the Newton Falls High girls soccer team defeated Bristol, 7-3.

Andria Masetta, Rachel Ellis and Jennifer Bjelec also scored for Newton Falls.

Giuliano had two assists while Bjelec and Ellis had one apiece for the Tigers (7-2). Stephanie Nussle made three stops.

Katlyn Rasmussen, Michele Termine and Lindsey Elza had one goal apiece for Bristol (3-4). Allyson Jones made 11 saves.

East Liverpool 3, SFlbYoungstown Christian 0

EAST LIVERPOOL

Jackie Burns, Gretchen Dietz and Nicole Talbott scored goals for the Potters.

Cami Chickonowski had 20 saves for Youngstown Christian while East Liverpool’s Sarah Boley made five stops.

Badger 3, Maplewood 0

CORTLAND

Anglique Armstrong, Olivia Van Scoy and Jennilyn Krumpe scored for the Braves (2-5-1, 2-1 Northeastern Athletic Confernence). Megan Hunkus, Armstrong and Tiffany Helmuth had assists. Hunkus made seven saves.

For the Rockets, Valerie Blank made nine saves for Maplewood (1-5, 0-3).
