Investigation continues in fatal Youngstown fire

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County coroner and other agencies continue investigating a fatal fire on the city's East Side.

A body was found inside 3660 Nelson Ave. when Youngstown firefighters arrived to put out a blaze at 2:40 p.m. today.

The front of the house was engulfed and the cause of the blaze is unknown at this time, firefighters said.

A sign in the yard advertised the property for sale, firefighters said.
