Family honors LoCiceros’ 60th with dinner party

On Aug. 28, 1950, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown was the setting as Joseph LoCicero and Susan Catullo were married.
On Aug. 28 this year, the LoCiceros, of Poland, celebrated 60 years of marriage at a family dinner party hosted by their son Carl LoCicero and his wife, Renee, also of Poland.
The couple’s other children and a spouse, Dee and George Pitko, Dave LoCicero, and Joe LoCicero, also attended, along with Barb Mangee, Carl’s mother-in-law, all of Poland.
Sharing the spotlight were the Pitkos, who celebrated their 34th anniversary on the same day.
The LoCiceros also have four grandchildren, Christie Pitko, Aaron Pitko, Rachel LoCicero and Maria LoCicero.
Mrs. LoCicero, a homemaker, and her husband are members of St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown.
Mr. LoCicero is a veteran of the Korean War, during which he was a tank commander. He retired in 1986 from the Youngstown school system, where he was a teacher.
