Cordray OKs CHS purchase of Forum Health
YOUNGSTOWN — Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray today approved Community Health Systems’ purchase of Forum Health, effectively sealing the fate of the Mahoning Valley’s beleaguered health-care system.
Cordray announced at a press conference today that he has no objection to the Tennessee-based company’s acquisition of Forum Health’s facilities, which include Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital in Howland, and Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.
