Meteorologists: 12 tornadoes touched down across state

WOOSTER, Ohio
The National Weather Service says a dozen tornado touchdowns were reported across Ohio on Thursday.
The storms flattened buildings, flipped over mobile homes and injured more than a dozen people.
On Saturday, Gov. Ted Strickland surveyed the damage from the storm at Ohio State University’s Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center about 50 miles south of Cleveland in Wooster.
The campus was littered with upended trees, and one of the greenhouses had collapsed.
After looking at the damage, Strickland said it’s amazing no one died in the storms.
