Columbus orchestra balances budget
COLUMBUS
The Columbus Symphony Orchestra says its financial books are in harmony five months after an arts group took over administrative functions in the face of a threatened shutdown.
Officials said in a statement Thursday that the symphony has moved into the black for the first time since 1996.
Family festival
CANFIELD
The Free Methodist Church will have a Fall Family Festival from 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 25 at the church, 3999 McCarty Drive. Included will be food, games, face painting, a clown, music, a firetruck and a bonfire.
