CANFIELD
Holborn Herb Growers Guild is inviting the public to Western Reserve Village for an afternoon tea party.
The village, on Route 46 inside the Canfield Fairgrounds, offers the ambiance of pioneer days for guests at the party, which will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 26.
Guests will experience a glimpse of history while enjoying samples of herbal teas and delicacies in the garden. They can stroll the grounds and visit the historic buildings. Guests are encouraged to wear hats and gloves. A teacup and saucer will be given as a memento of the afternoon.
The Ladies of Herbal Theatrics, Connie Williams and Karen Rodachy, will present a program, “All About Lavender.”
The cost of the party is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 10. Tickets are sold only in advance; call Virginia Bartos at 330-750-9862.
