National College will offer free assistance to all veterans in applying for the new state-funded veterans bonus.

Campus locations in Liberty, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton and Akron will have someone available on staff that can assist veterans with the application process including notarization at the campuses and mailing their applications for them.

“We saw this as an opportunity to help our veterans,” said Wes Smith, regional director of military affairs. “We already offer this type of support for financial aid filing for our students, so it was a kind of no-brainer for us.”

Applications are available at any of the National College campuses in Ohio; online at www.veteransbonus.ohio.gov; any of Ohio’s 88 county Veterans Services offices; or by calling 877-OHIO-VET.

The Liberty office is at 3487 Belmont Ave. and the phone number is 330-759.0205.
