Miss Varro to wed Mr. Parnell in October ceremony

SOLON, Ohio

The parents of Melanie Varro are announcing their daughter’s engagement and plans for her autumn wedding.

Terry and Stephanie Herzberger of Solon, Ohio, are parents of the bride-elect, who lives in Florence, S.C.

E.J. and Nancy Parnell of Lamar, S.C., are the parents of Jason Parnell, the future groom, also of Florence.

The Oct. 9 wedding will take place at 5:30 p.m. at The Harbour Club in Charleston, S.C. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a 6:30 reception, also at The Harbour Club.

Miss Varro graduated from Youngstown State University. She is a Correctional Treatment Specialist with the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Charleston, S.C.

Mr. Parnell graduated from Penn State University. He is a United States marshal.
