Jessica Marie Venglarcik | Gary Drake

Jessica Marie Venglarcik of Alexandria, Va., and Gary Drake, also of Alexandria, were united in marriage Sept. 11 at the historic Cabell’s Mill at Ellanor C. Lawrence Park, Centreville, Va., with a reception immediately following the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of John and Margaret Venglarcik of Poland and the groom is the son of the late Ernest and Esther Drake of Newton, Kan.

Miss Vanglarcik received a bachelor’s degree from Miami University and a master’s degree in social administration from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. She is a social worker for the District of Columbia’s Child and Family Services Agency.

Mr. Drake is the manager of creative services for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.
