Fall festival is today

White House Fruit Farm of Canfield will celebrate the fall season with its 29th annual Craft Show and Harvest Festival today and Sunday.

The annual event features a unique blend of fun and food that the entire family can enjoy.

A large craft show will be held on the grounds of the farm and feature artisans from around the region. The weekend also marks the opening of the farm’s popular pumpkin pavilion. “Most people come for the food,” said White House owner Debbie Pifer.

Special fall outdoor events continue every weekend through Oct. 24. Fall hours for the 10,000 square-foot market are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.

White House Fruit Farm is located 10 minutes south of Canfield on Route 62. Information is available online at www.whitehousefruitfarm.com.

Additional outdoor events include horse-drawn wagon rides through the orchards, a petting zoo and children’s play area. “There will be plenty of fall favorites, including fresh apples and cider, both inside the market and on the grounds.”
