Library Friends to host tea at the East Branch

YOUNGSTOWN

The Friends of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, East Library Committee, will host a Lavender and Lace Tea from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room of East Library, 430 Early Road.

Wear your favorite hat and gloves to this elegant and entertaining afternoon tea. The event will feature a special presentation by local singer Sophia Brooks.

The admission charge is $15 per person. Mail reservations to Deborah Liptak, development director, Main Library, 305 Wick Ave., Youngstown OH 44503.

The Friends are volunteers who give of their time and efforts to support the library. Proceeds of this event will benefit the Mahoning County library system.
