Alliance Friends Church was the setting on July 31 as Jodi Stewart, a daughter of David and Eileen Stewart of North Lima, and Peter Dudek, a son of Philip and Mary Dudek of Alliance, were united in marriage.

The groom’s father officiated at the noon ceremony, and the couple were honored during a reception later that day at St. George Serbian Center in North Canton.

After a honeymoon at Sandals Resort in the Bahamas, the couple live in Alliance.

The bride wore a white satin gown with beaded illusion tank straps and a V-notch bodice. It featured an A-line skirt, a beaded empire waist and a chapel train with pleated detailing and bustle.

Sangria-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, the bride’s mother, and the bridesmaids, Bethany Dudek, a sister of the groom; Katrina Peterson; Elizabeth Stewart, the bride’s sister-in-law; Jenna Dudek, the groom’s sister-in-law; Leah Dudek, his sister; Rachell Storm; Bethany Sheldon; and Elisha Jacobs, the bride’s cousin. Flower girls were Jasmine and Venna Twineham.

Andrew Dudek served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Jason Hahn; Kody Stewart and Bo Stewart, brothers of the bride; Jeremy Hahn; Andrew Demuth; Samuel Dudek, the groom’s brother; Jack Twineham; and John Woolf, the groom’s uncle. Ring bearer was Nekoda Twineham, and ushers were Christian Donahou and Ryan Dykshoorn.

The bride graduated from Grace College with a bachelor’s degree in counseling and received master’s degrees in clinical counseling and school counseling from Malone University. She is employed by Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health of Stark County as a school counselor for Marlington School District-Elementary in Alliance.

The groom is a software developer with Synergy Data Systems in Canton. He holds bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and computer science from Mount Union College.
