Event will benefit children’s hospital

Love’s Travel Stop, 2586 N. Main St., Hubbard, will be the site of a rummage sale, Chinese auction and cookout, all to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network.

The fundraiser will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Ski club plans tour of wineries

Youngstown Ski Club will meet for a Geneva wine tour at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

The bus will depart at that time from Quaker Steak & Lube, 5800 Interstate Blvd., Austintown.

Included in the fee, which is $60 for members and $66 for nonmembers, will be tours and tastes at five wineries, lunch at the first stop, and dinner on your own at the last winery.

The bus will return around 9 p.m. that day.
