Chefs may demonstrate culinary skills at dinner

Professional and amateur chefs are invited to demonstrate their culinary skills during the second annual Top Chef Dinner on Oct. 9 at St. Patrick Church Hall, 357 N. Main St.

The chefs will have an opportunity to show off their food preparation skills in five categories: entr es, soups and breads, salads, appetizers and desserts.

Diners will select the foods they want to taste, and at the completion of their meal they can cast a vote for their favorites.

Awards will be presented to the winners in each category.

Chefs interested in participating in the benefit event must register by Sept. 29. They can pick up a registration form at the church office, 225 N. Main St., or call Tom Bonaquist at 330-534-7679.

Tickets for diners cost $15 each and are available from any member of the Pastoral Council of the church or at the church office.

Proceeds will benefit the needy of the community.
