Sunset at the Farm this weekend

CANFIELD

Mill Creek MetroParks’ fall festival, Sunset at the Farm, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the MetroParks Farm, state Route 46 across from the Canfield Fairgrounds.

The free event features hayrides on wagons pulled by draft horses, campfire

entertainment with Jon Mosey and freshly made apple butter and cider. Children can visit with farm animals, and there will be a marshmallow roast, a search for “needles” (toys) in a haystack and a trip through a cornfield maze. The festivities include a sack race and an egg toss. The fun and educational AgVenture Barn also will be open. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on at the campfire.
