Ohio State University has announced a plan to grow its already giant campus by enrolling at least 4 percent more students by 2015.

The university plan unveiled Tuesday also would raise ACT scores to 29 from 27.5 and boost both the university’s retention and graduation rates.

The plan to be presented to university trustees later this week would increase the number of transfer students, students on regional campuses and graduate students pursuing master’s degrees.

The plan would raise Ohio State’s enrollment to more than 66,000 by 2015, an increase of at least 2,700 students.

Dolan Evanovich, vice president for strategic enrollment planning, says the plan will help attract better- prepared students each year.
