Model club to fly craft; public is welcome

COLUMBIANA

The Mahoning County Model Club will have a fun fly from 9:30 a.m. to about 3 p.m. Saturday at the Shaker Woods flying field, County Line Road, off state Route 7, in the Shaker Woods parking area.

Model aircraft will be on display and in the air. The aircraft are scale and semiscale models of civilian and military planes. There also will be many home-designed aircraft. The sizes range from half-scale to mini-scale.

The public is encouraged to attend; admission is free.

Refreshments will be for sale. Take a chair and enjoy the flying.
