St. Andrewes AME Church, 521 W. Earle Ave., Youngstown, will serve lunch from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday. Various commodities also will be available from noon to 2 p.m. for residents in ZIP code areas 44502, 44507 and 44511. Please bring identification and containers or bags.

Lockwood United Methodist Church, 4570 Lockwood Blvd., Youngstown, will have a free community end-of-summer picnic from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sloppy joes, potatoes, corn, apple cake and beverages will be served.

Food-distribution notices are to be submitted by 3 p.m. the day before they are to be published.
