Funtulis-Duncan wedding plans are announced

James and Kathleen Funtulis and Howard and Michele Duncan, all of Champion, are announcing the engagement of their children, Kathryn Kalliope Funtulis and Michael Dean Duncan, and plans for their upcoming marriage.

The couple will exchange vows during an Oct. 9 ceremony in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren. Their reception will follow at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles. Invitations will be issued for both.

The bride-to-be graduated from Point Park University with a bachelor’s degree in public administration and is employed as an administrative assistant by GT Worldwide Logistics of Carnegie, Pa.

The prospective groom graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in industrial design. He is employed by Bucyrus International of Houston, Pa., as a technical illustrator.
