Mahoning OVI checkpoint nets 3 impaired drivers at Shields and Tippecanoe

The Mahoning County OVI Task Force arrested three impaired drivers during an enforcement effort at the intersection of Tippecanoe and Shields Roads from 11 p.m. Friday until 3 a.m. Saturday. The three persons had an average blood alcohol content of 0.145. The legal limit is 0.08.

Other charges included four driving under suspension charges; one charge for not having a license; five other miscellaneous citations; four other arrests, four vehicles were seized, and one speeding citation was issued.
