Food program helps children and elderly

YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning-Youngstown Community Action Partnership and Heart Reach Ministries are participating in the Ohio Department of Education’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.

The program, funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is available to all enrolled participants regardless of race, national origin, sex, age or disability.

Meals and snacks are provided free to children and elderly adults as part of the day-care service they receive.

Heart Reach Ministries will have the meals and snacks at its location at 211 Redondo Road on the city’s North Side.
