Brooks’ TDs ignite win for Struthers

Jermayne Brooks scored touchdowns on runs of 36 and 25 yards as the Struthers High football team defeated Beaver Local, 20-12, Friday.

Kevin McDonald caught a 25-yard scoring pass from Tommy Kimbro for the Wildcats’ other score.

Brooks rushed for 94 yards on 14 carries while Mike Maillis gained 45 yards on 10 carries for the Wildcats (1-2).

Kimbo completed seven of 10 passes for 111 yards. McDonald caught six of them for 104 yards.

For the Beavers (0-3), Evan Schneider scored on a 2-yard run. Ryan Smith caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Schneider who completed eight of 16 passes for 112 yards.
