Tailgate party raises funds for athletic program

Neighbors | Submitted.Canfield athletic booster President Tom Kamenitsa invites everyone to come out and enjoy a tailgate party, "Gamteime!", all the while helping raise funds for the Canfield High School athletic department. .The event will take place today from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Maronite Center.

All Canfield Cardinals and Ohio State Buckeyes fans may want to attend “Gametime!” today from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Maronite Center.

The OSU vs Miami football game will be featured on a giant screen, while various card games of chance and skill will fill the hall.

According to Canfield Athletic Booster President Tom Kamenitsa, fans may participate in a corn hole tournament or try their luck at the silent auction and the Canfield High School all sports raffle table.

Someone will win a 50 inch LG flat screen television.

Tickets are $35 for adults over 21 and include the ultimate tailgate buffet and a cash bar.

All proceeds from this event benefit athletic programs at CHS and fund the annual Dick Weiss Scholarship.
