St. John’s has new rector

The Rev. Dr. Bradley Pace became rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., in mid-July.

The Rev. Dr. Pace earned degrees from Berea College, Berea, Ky., and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

He holds a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

He was ordained to the priesthood in 2008 after attending Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanston, Ill.

Prior to coming to St. John’s, Dr. Pace served as an associate priest for youth and family ministry at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wheaton, Ill.

He is married to Katie Elder, and they are the parents of three young children.
