The Benedictine Sisters of Queen of Heaven Monastery, 8640 Squires Lane, NE, will sponsor a Spirituality Day on Sept. 25. The Rev. Andrew Deskevich, pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Warren, will speak on “Mary, Our Protectress.”
The event is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be time for reflection, questions, refreshments and an opportunity to receive the sacrament of reconciliation.

Labyrinth walk

Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center will sponsor a guided labyrinth walk from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Villa Maria Community Center. The theme is “Walk in Compassion.”

Rabbi Eric Lakatos of Tikvat Yisrael Messianic Jewish Synagogue will address the Youngstown Chapter of Igniting New Life Ministries International, an inter-denominational ministry, on Sept. 20. Rally Day

Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2985 Center Road, will celebrate Rally Day on Sunday.
Worship will be at 9:30 a.m. with activities, picnic and games following.
The community is invited to join in this day of re-commitment to Christian education. There will be opportunities to sign up for various classes including adult Sunday school, Sunday school for kindergarten through fourth grade and catechism for fifth- through eighth-grades.
Starting Sept. 19, Sunday school will begin at 9 a.m. and worship at 10.

A lecture series on the Holy Trinity continues at 6 p.m. Thursday at St. Michael Orthodox Church social hall, 127 Steel St., with the Rev. Andrew Gromm.
It is based on “Exposition of the Orthodox Faith.”

Dust & Ashes (MaryLou Troutman and Tom Page) began its music ministry at Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, D.C. They have recorded 13 albums. CDs and tapes will be available.
