Poland swim Club wins meet

The Poland Swim Club won its meet against Tippecanoe Country Club, Trumbull Country Club and Youngstown Country Club.

The girls 8 and under 100-meter relay team, including Mia Gajdos, Lucy Graziano, Carly Ungaro and Morgan Sackella, won its race.

Morgan Sackella also earned first place in the 25-meter freestyle.

Mia Gajdos took first place in the 25-meter backstroke, while Carly Ungaro earned two wins in the 25-meter breaststroke and the 25-meter butterfly.

The girls 9 through 10-year-old 100-meter relay team, including Avery Blasko, Maggie Sebest, Abigail Scharf and Sarah Wolfe, came in first.

Maggie Sebest won the 25-meter breaststroke.

Winners for the 11 to 12-year-old girls division were Gina Ungaro in the 50-meter freestyle and Emily Cammack in the 50-meter breaststroke.

Taylor Tofil took first in the 50-meter backstroke and the 50-meter butterfly.

The boys 11 to 12-year old 200-meter relay team of Dominic Lattanzio, Joseph Shields, Anthony Zeno and Andrew Comstock won its race.

David Robich, Adam Susko, Patrick Brennan and Jay Raymer made up the winning 200-meter freestyle relay.

David Robich won the 50-meter freestyle and Anthony Zeno won the 50-meter backstroke.

Joseph Shields took first in the 50-meter breaststroke, while Jay Raymer earned first in the 50-meter butterfly.

The 13 to 14-year-old girls 200-meter relay team, including Mirhanda VanScoter, Nicole Clark, Celia Melillo and Sarah Comstock, won its race.

Zoe Sommers earned wins in the 50-meter freestyle and the 50-meter butterfly. Madeline Evan won the 50-meter backstroke.

Annie Boniface, Madeline Evan, Madeleine Leek and Taylor Tofil made up the winning 200-meter freestyle relay team.

The boys 13 to 14-year-old winning 200-meter freestyle relay team included Michael Angiolelli, John Brennan, David Lankitus and Anthony Lattanzio.

John Brennan won the 50-meter backstroke and David Lankitus took first in the 50-meter butterfly.

Anthony Lattanzio earned two first-place wins in the 50-meter freestyle and the 50-meter breaststroke.

The 15 to 18-year-old girls 200-meter relay team, including Becca Stewart, Kayleigh Lavorini, Katie Becherer and Zoe Sommers, won its race.

Kayleigh Lavorini won the 50-meter freestyle and the 50-meter breaststroke. Becca Stewart took first in the 50-meter butterfly and the 50-meter backstroke.

Joe Boniface earned two wins for the 15 to 18-year old boys division, including the 50-meter backstroke and the 50-meter freestyle.
