After a long and warm Labor Day weekend, the students at Frank Ohl Intermediate School were settling into their first full week of classes Tuesday.

The students at Frank Ohl had summers that included everything from trips to Geneva, Cedar Point and Myrtle Beach, to many trips to visit extended family that included swimming and play dates with cousins. Over Labor Day weekend, many of the fourth-graders went to Canfield Fair to eat lots of food and visit the animal barns.

Even after the five-day weekend for Frank Ohl students, many students were very happy to be back to school. When asked to use one word to describe how they felt during their first full week back, the majority of students said, “Excited!”

Anthony Winterburn opted for honesty.

“I’m between happy and unhappy. I miss playing outside with my friends, but I’m really excited to learn as much as I can this year.”
