The Trumbull Advocacy and Protective Network will offer training sessions for Trumbull County social-service professionals the third Thursday of the month, starting Thursday at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, 8747 Squires Lane N.E.
The sessions run from 11:20 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The session will be given by Lisa Solley of the Area Agency on Aging 11.
On Oct. 21, Debbie Agostonelli of the Trumbull County Animal Welfare League will talk about animal hoarding.
On Nov. 18, Ken Lloyd of Community Solutions will speak on prescription drug abuse among senior citizens.
On Jan. 20, Judge Thomas A. Swift of Trumbull County Probate Court will talk about incompetence vs. incapacity.
On Feb. 17, Cathy Grizinski of the Help Hotline Crisis Center will talk about suicide among the 60-and-over population.
On March 17, Barb Karlen of St. Joseph Health Center will talk about serving senior citizens with diabetes.
