Lunches to feature ethnic foods

YOUNGSTOWN

Box lunches featuring ethnic foods will be available beginning at 11:30 a.m. Sunday during a Chinese auction that will take place at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave.

Flea market planned

WARREN

Central Christian Church, 2051 E. Market St., will have an outdoor flea market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be 18 vendors and food will be available.

Proceeds from table rentals and the Christian Education booth will support children and youth projects.

Dinner to benefit football team

NEW MIDDLETOWN

St. Paul Church hall, state Route 170, will be the setting from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday for a pasta dinner fundraiser to be sponsored by mothers of members of Springfield Local High School Football Team. Proceeds will benefit the team.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children under 10 and will be available at the door. Carryouts will also be available.

Rotary Club plans scrapbooking event

EAST PALESTINE

East Palestine Rotary Club will sponsor its fifth biannual scrapbooking event from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the First United Presbyterian Church, 109 W. Rebecca St.

The registration fee of $40 includes a hot cooked lunch and dinner, and snacks, water, tea and coffee all day.

There will be a Chinese auction and free demonstrations, fall make ’n takes, scrapbooking ideas, and a chance to win a basket containing more than $100 worth of Creative Memories products.
