NORTH LIMA

Andy Lacefield scored two goals for the Raiders (2-2). Also scoring goals were Andrew O’Leary and Jordan Baker. Earning assists were Tyler Ausnehmer, Joe Beike and Aaron Beabout. Isaac Schuster made five saves. For the Bulldogs, Adam Robb scored and Cody Stewart made five saves.

Hubbard 7, Ursuline 3

HUBBARD

Nick Pedaline scored four goals for the Eagles (2-1). Tim Kemner, Nate Tarabsi and Jack Trickett scored the other goals. Kemner and Sterling Morris each made two assists. Goalkeeper Tyler Pagley made four saves. For the Irish (1-3), Kevin Kablan, Tyler Stimpert and Sean Coffey scored goals while Brandon Kays made seven saves.

WARREN

Moises Sosa scored two goals and Kevin Rigg II and Ja’Lyn Smith the others for the Raiders. Sosa, Micah Tatebe and ReHem Smith earned assists while Charles Wargo made four saves. For the Rockets, James Read scored and Stephen O’Bradovich made 16 saves. JV: Maplewood, 1-0.

Crestview 3, Columbiana 1

COLUMBIANA

Zach Moore scored two goals and Caleb McGrath the other for the Rebels. McGrath and Clay Linhart earned assists while goalkeeper Derek Bable made four saves. For the Clippers, Hank Schlueter scored the goal and Nate Tate made 21 saves.

KINSMAN

Troy Elsea scored three goals for the Braves (6-0-0, 4-0-0 Northeastern Athletic Conference). Also netting goals were Allen Willey, Ben Meardith and Sean Dunfee. Elsea, Willey and Meardith each had two assists. Tyler Lucy and Taylor Matson combined for five saves. For the Mustangs (4-2-0, 2-2-0), Mike Ponikvar scored and Cody Moyer made six saves.

Portersville 2, Heartland Christian 0

PORTERSVILLE, PA.

Justin Santoro scored both goals for Portersville while Ryan Vangent made 16 saves for the shutout. For Heartland, goalkeeper Ryan Benner made nine saves.

GIRLS

South Range 2, Springfield 1

NORTH LIMA

Kellie Johnston and Abby Ausenhmer each had a goal for the Raiders, and goalkeeper Kristin Robinson had 13 saves. Jaclyn Tabaka had the only score for the Tigers and she was assisted by Hailey Sullivan. Jillian Tabaka made 21 saves in goal.

Boardman 11, Massillon Perry 3

MASSILLON

Heather Hughes scored a school-record seven goals for the Spartans (2-1, 1-0 Federal League). Nikki Hillard scored three goals and Nicole Deley the other. Hillard, Danielle Petrus and Hailey Dickey each had two assists. Bryana Flak, Nicole Vlad, Missy DeMarinis, Kayleigh Huck and Michelle Higgins had one assist each. Debbie Donatelli and Dickey combined for 10 saves. For Perry (0-5), Branigan Belford, Michelle Genetin and Hannah Gregorie scored goals while Elizabeth Ross made 11 saves. JV: Boardman, 6-1.

Fitch 7, Canton McKinley 1

CANTON

Tori Koch and Emily Durina each had two goals for the Falcons (4-0) and teammates Lauren Bower, Kelsey Martin and Kristen Schmidt each had one. Jessica Scott had five saves for Fitch. The Bulldogs (0-4) were led by Tiara Smothers. Fitch lead 4-0 at halftime.

Poland 3, Niles 1

POLAND

Madison Brooker had two goals and Kelsey Malenic had one goal for Poland (4-0, 2-0 AAC Red Tier). Tatum Marucci, Erin Gabriel and Rachael Robertson had assists for the Bulldogs, Taylor Stewart had the lone goal for Niles (2-2, 0-2 AAC Red), whose goalkeeper, Sarah Scarnecchia, made 14 saves. Abbie Frank made nine saves for Poland. JV: Poland, 2-0.

Canfield 1, Howland 0

HOWLAND

The Cardinals (2-1-2) had 11 shots on goal and connected when Paige Bidinotto received a pass from Kendyl Carlisle and knocked it past Howland’s Emily Peice who made seven saves. Canfield goalkeeper Jackie Podolsky made 10 saves.

STRUTHERS

Mary LaCivita had two goals while Melissa Thomas and Mia Daly had the other goals for Hubbard (3-2, AAC White 2-1). Becca Cooper and Daly had an assist apiece for the Eagles. Hubbard goalkeepers Alexandria Jennings, Courtney Sargent and Mary LaCivita combined for four saves.
