Mathers-Day wedding to be in Jamaica

The engagement of Kaitlin Elizabeth Mathers and Eric Charles Day, both of Pasadena, Md., and plans for their autumn wedding are being announced by their parents, Gerald and Diane Mathers of Davidsonville, Md., and Robert C. and Karen A. Day of Berlin Center.

The couple have chosen the beach at Ocho Rios in Jamaica for their 4 p.m. Oct. 22 wedding and reception.

Miss Mathers graduated with a degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in education from Towson University. She is a kindergarten teacher with Anne Arundel County Public Schools in Glen Burnie, Md.

Mr. Day is a third-grade teacher with Anne Arundel County Public Schools. He earned a degree in elementary education from Bethany College and is pursuing a master’s in instruction and curriculum with a focus in administration from McDaniel College.
