Girard girls defeat Liberty

Lyndsey Crown had nine kills and three blocks, leading Girard to a 25-9, 25-12, 25-13 victory over rival Liberty in a high school volleyball match on Tuesday.
Alex Doran had 13 assists and three aces and Mary Burt had 11 points with three aces for Girard (3-1, 1-0 AAC White). Liberty is 1-2, 0-1.

Casey Stevens had 15 points, six aces, three kills, 19 assists and 11 digs for Western Reserve (4-2).
Hannah Shrader had 14 points, six aces, eight kills and seven blocks and Sissy Stubbs had four points, two aces, 11 kills, five digs and two blocks.
For Sebring (0-5), Taylor Nannah had nine points, three aces, four kills and seven digs and Taylor Ward had four kills.

Shawntae Dillard had 13 kills and two blocks to lead Wellsville (3-0), while Noelle Amato had 14 points, seven aces and 23 assists.
Colleen Maskarinec had 19 points, two aces, 13 kills and six blocks for J-M (1-4, 0-1 ITCL Tier Two). Maddie Griffiths added 19 points, four aces, 13 kills and 19 assists.

Heather Darocha had six aces and 10 kills, Allyson Hajnosz had 17 serves and 17 assists and Sarah Cash had one block for Lordstown (3-2, 3-0 NAC).

Springfield (4-1) had 36 kills, and were led in the category by Brooke Schrieber with 20.

The Quakers (4-1) got 28 assists and two kills from Laura Brown, and 25 kills and five aces from Mariah Halleck (15, 1) and Cassie Davidson (10, 4). Alexis Smith had six kills and two blocks.
Nia Grant’s 18 kills and 10 digs led the Tigers (3-2) and Kaylee Redon added 10 kills and eight digs. Teammates Morgan Alden and Elena Rounsley had 12 digs and 34 assists, respectively.
