Handel's to present Kid-Palooza! at JCC

YOUNGSTOWN

Handel's Ice Cream will sponsor Kid-Palooza! Oct. 24 at the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. and Hey Kid! will perform at 2 p.m. in the multipurpose room.

Refreshments will be available for purchase and there will be temporary tattoos, pumpkin painting and face painting.

Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under at the door. Proceeds benefit the local Relay for Life.

Luncheon honors Links members

WARREN

Krismu Shipmon, who was recently elected president of the Youngstown Chapter of Links Inc., hosted her first President’s Friendship Luncheon, at the Avalon Golf and Country Club in Warren. The luncheon was in honor of all Links members. The president presented all members with a gift.

The other new officers for 2010-2012 are Janice L. Beachum, vice president; Germaine Bennett, treasuer; JoAnn Blunt, financial secretary; Susan Moorer, recording secretary; and Lenora Hill, public relations.
