Family members honor Lyonses on anniversary

BOARDMAN

Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Lyons of Boardman were honored by family members as they celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Aug. 29 during a picnic at the home of a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Terri Lyons of Boardman.

Also serving as hosts for the festivity were their other sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Carol Lyons of Boardman, and Patrick and Pauline Lyons of Poland. There are 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren in the family.

Sacred Heart Church, Youngstown, was the setting on Aug. 27, 1955, as the former Nancy O’Dea and Mr. Lyons were united in marriage. They are members of St. Dominic Church in Youngstown.

Mrs. Lyons retired from Nemenz IGA in Struthers, where she was a cake decorator. Mr. Lyons is retired from Wean United.
