Family celebrates Siefert anniversary at Michigan lake

Ford Lake in Fountain, Mich., was the setting Aug. 7 for the celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Siefert of Hubbard.

Hosting the festivities were their daughters, Susan Fralick of Springfield and Sharon Bidgood of Comstock Park, Mich., and their spouses. Also participating were the Sieferts’ five grandchildren.

The former Ethyl Cramer and Mr. Siefert were united in marriage on July 29, 1960, at the First Methodist Church in Hubbard.

Mr. Siefert served with the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1962, and was employed by IBEW Local 64 as an electrician prior to retiring in 1997. Mr. and Mrs. Siefert are members of the National Corvette Restorers Society, the Antique Automobile Club of America, Shenango Valley Antique Car Club, the Thunderbirds of S.W. Florida, and the Classic Thunderbird Club International. Mrs. Siefert is also a member of the American Legion in Hubbard.
